So what's new?

As a consequence of not spending that much time in front of the computer the blog has suffered! I'm going to be better to update my blog now have i promised myself! Today I'm taking the time it takes to try to cover the most! It's hard, every time I skip to do the blog, the more I have to write next time. This post has taken almost 2 hours to make!

So what's new? I'm back at my old maintenance job, it's basicly a better job and with better hours. The old falcon is sold! I got 1700 for it, I sold it to a German backpacker! I bought it for 2000 incl rego worth 400 bucks, so I actually got 100 bucks more for it! But I don't even want to think about how much money I have been spending on it! It's a lot, A LOT!!!

Me and Jodie has been doing a couple of roadtrips down the coast. We have been to the biggest amusement park in Australia and it's was good! It's didn't have as many attractions as Liseberg which is scandivias biggest park located in southwest of Sweden. But if you include the zoo and the waterworld it's bigger. They have a couple similar parks in the area, so there is a lot to choose from! We had a great day at dreamworld! I was going on the most scary attraction ever, the giant drop which is 39 storeys high! this is the tallest, free-falling ride in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World records. And yes I'm really scared of heights! The worst part, when it goes up to the top it has a pause of a couple of minutes and you never know when it's going to drop!!

And to another thrill, maybe a more gentle one was going to Ikea!! Ikea is one of the things that make you as a Swede proud!! They even had a Swedish shop with a lot of Swedish stuff. But I found myself to not miss the Swedish food so much anyway. Maybe I haven't came to that stage yet.

There was a Swedish book and it reminded me how long time ago I read a book in Swedish!! Or a book at all for that mather!

The last couple of month we had really bad rain that's been killing my garden! Yeah you heard right, all the hard work for nothing. I decided to slash everything and start over again, which I properly need because I need to switch to winterfruits! The only plant that survived was one brave capsicum plant! The tomatoplant in the picture got slashed too, it was halfdead anyway.

Over easter we were going to the coast again and were staying a night in Surfers paradise! The exceptions were high, but it wasn't a surfers paradise, not the day we were there anyway. There were almost no waves at all! The place was incredible, fancy, tall buildings everywhere! And everything was accommodation in different ways. It looked like fancy office buildings, but no, all for tourism!

Anzac day is something that's really big in Australia. On Anzac day we are honouring Australia soldiers! As a Swede it's hard to understand, because we never go to war. When it's war time, we hide somewhere and just wait for the smoke to clear!

It's not a beautiful sight!!

Tower of terror!!! It was a bit scary!

After the giant drop we were going to this log flum ride, at the time the excitment level was perfect for this ride!

Pay four bucks and get dry, really?!?! How does that?

We tried to get the high voltage sign in this picture. I think we took at least 4 pictures before we gave up!

The Kangaroos were really calm and laid back! You could pet them without them getting upset!

The Koalas is a very cute little creature! We even got the opportunity to pet them!

This old ford might be older than my falcon, but I think it's cheaper to run it!!

Yeah I'm a bad boy!!

We also tried to get this one right a couple of times!!

From time to time I hear that people think I'm looking like Jamie Oliver and I have to say it all the time, just because my cooking is as good it don't make me look any similar to him!n

This part is very beautiful, but it's really hard to catch it on a photo!

Surfers paradise!

When I bought this expensive beer they forgot to tell me that is wasn't even a midstrange one!

Copenhagen Icecream, I didn't know to be honest that they were famous for there icecream, but it was good!

One of Jodies friends took as up in one of the skyscrapes in the city center of Brisbane where he works! The sights were beautiful!! Another one that's really hard to catch on a photo!

Brisbane city!

This photo is point in our life that we will never forgot! After going up 4.15 in the morning to go honor the soldiers of Australia, we were getting lost and it took us almost an hour to get to the car!

This Bar had free video games!! Here were playing the new Street Fighter for Xbox 360 with the arcade stick!
Here is Shannon, Jodies friend that we were staying with during our time in Brisbane! A really nice guy!!
